Academic Life Coach

Kristin joins the LSFT team with a 13-year background as an Intervention Specialist at Nordonia High School. Her career began as a Middle School Intervention Specialist and then moved on to the high school in the Nordonia Hills City School District. As an Intervention Specialist, Kristin has worked with students with many different needs academically, socially and emotionally. She is certified by the state of Ohio as a Highly Qualified Teacher as well as an Accomplished Teacher. Her favorite part of coaching is helping the student achieve their personal and academic best. She loves helping students become confident learners with a growth mindset and seeing the Ah-Ha moments when it all comes together and they know they can be successful.

Kristin earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Kent State University in 2001, her Mild/ Moderate Special Education License from Ursuline College in 2006, and completed her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Baldwin Wallace University in 2011. Kristin is a member of the Ohio Education Association and has (lost any other professional accomplishments)

Kristin lives in Willoughby, Ohio with her fun-loving, kind, caring son Colin who is in his junior year of high school. When she is not hanging out with her friends and family, she enjoys spending time outdoors especially at a beach or somewhere near water, working out or watching her favorite shows Grey’s Anatomy, Million Little Things and any show on HGTV.
