Rob Collier

Academic Life Coach

Rob joins the LSFT team after 19 successful years in education. 

He worked as a Highly Qualified middle school educator with Clearview Local Schools in Lorain, Ohio for the majority of his career, where he has been rated as Accomplished. 

Rob then moved with his family to the Columbus area in 2019 in support of his wife’s career advancement.  He is currently a Computer & Career Ed instructor at Mount Gilead Middle School.  

Rob earned his bachelor degree in education from Ashland University in 2000, and holds a Master’s degree in Educational Technology from Cleveland State University.  He has extensive experience coaching varsity basketball and football, as well as middle school track.  He has helped several of his athletes earn college opportunities.  

Rob enjoys building relationships with students to help them find their passion and reach their potential. He believes in building habits that will promote lifelong success, as well as properly responding to adverse challenges. He has assisted more than 250 of his students with completing passion projects in an effort to inspire their future goals and plans. Students use their passion project to choose course programs in high school, college majors and even begin their own businesses.

Rob loves the Buckeyes, Browns and Cavs, and enjoys his adventures with his wife Natalie and daughters Stella and Quinn.
