Academic Life Coach

Missy joins the LSFT team with 6 years of experience as a Social Worker. She began her career with children and in education at Stanley Primary School in Denver, Colorado.  Prior to teaching in the Cleveland City Schools, working with both the special needs and neurotypical populations. After receiving her LCSW degree from the University of Denver, she moved to a social work role at University Hospital, working with a diverse client base utilizing a variety of evidence-based approaches to achieve more favorable results. Missy’s priority is motivating her clients to live their most meaningful and healthy lives.

Missy earned her Bachelor of Arts from New England College with a Major in Education, a minor in Special Education, and her Masters in Social Work from the University of Denver.

Missy enjoys working with teenagers and encourages them to let go of who they think they are supposed to be and embrace the best version of themselves. In her free time, Missy teaches yoga, enjoys spending time with her 15-year-old daughter Daisy, 17-year-old son Wade, and husband Todd. She adores her two dogs, Max and Toby, and time in the sunshine and with her friends.
