Academic Life Coach

Matt joins the LSFT team with experience as a school psychologist, college success tutor, and middle and high school tutor. As a school psychologist, Matt has had the opportunity to work with students from preschool to high school with a wide range of behavioral and academic challenges. He pursued his Academic Life Coach certification to help students build their skills so they can experience success in school and beyond.

Matt earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Kent State University in 2009 and his master’s degree in school psychology from the University of North Texas in 2012.

Matt lives in Mentor with his supportive wife, three energetic sons, and two rambunctious dogs. He enjoys spending time with his family, cheering on the Cleveland Indians and Ohio State Buckeyes, and helping coach his son’s sports teams.
